I was born in Telde (Gran Canaria) at 1.958. I¨m a pleasant person as say the people that know me. Other people think that I´m cold and caculator. You can obtain yours own conclusions.

I'm currently professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Computer Science and Systems Department of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University.

I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Las Palmas in 1.983. I¨m member of the IEEE Computer Society, the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), the Asociación Española de Reconocimiento de Formas (AERFAI) and the Asociación Española para la Inteligencia Artificial (AEPIA).
